Registered Nurse - Endoscopy New

The Endoscopy RN is directly accountable to the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services, and indirectly to the Shift Nursing Supervisor. Responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care for the Medical-Surgical Outpatient and/or Inpatients receiving surgical and/or invasive procedure through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adolescents, adults and older adults.

Education and Work Experience

1. Current and valid NJ RN license.

2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

3. ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

4. Minimum of one year Endoscopy experience in an acute care or outpatient surgery setting or G.I. lab.

5. Completed Moderate Sedation competency within 30 days upon hire required.
