LPN Position CC Laurelton- Dementia Unit

At CC Laurelton, we are placing a high emphasis on the care provided to our residents requiring dementia based care. We are currently looking for those that strive to provide compassionate care to our residents living with dementia and memory impairment.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN on our team, you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our extended family residing on our dementia unit. You will be able to work on a dementia-certified, state of the art unit which creates a highly therapeutic and home like environment.

Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Active, unencumbered New Jersey LPN license
• Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia or behavioral health conditions, and a willingness to work with the elderly population is essential for this role
• Administer medications and perform necessary treatments, as assigned per physician’s orders, in accordance with resident’s care plan and within scope of practice.
• Accurately report and record residents’ condition and care including signs and symptoms which can be indicative of a clinical change in condition.
• Dementia Care Practitioner certification (training will be provided upon hire)
• Providing specific dementia care with emphasis on supporting quality care, safety, and management of behaviors in collaboration with care team
• Perform all duties that are restorative, supportive and preventative measures are met in accordance with applicable state laws and regulations.
